APPROPRIATING $22,739 FROM THE PARK BOND FUND FOR
IMPROVEMENTS AT OAK PARK RECREATION CENTER; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $22,739 from the Park Bond
Fund for improvements at Oak Park Recreation Center which includes reducing
noise problems, improving outside lighting and fixing drainage and plumbing
problems.
SECTION 2 That uponwritten request of the Mayor five Council
members, copy attached, to find anddeclare an emergency due to the need to take
immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting the
construction Of public Improvements, such finding Of an
emergency is made and
o
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance
is passed and shalltake effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this
the 29th day of November, 1984.
