AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT TO CLAUDE CHAPMAN FOR INSTALLATION
OF APPROXIMATELY 772 LINEAR FEET OF 8 -INCH DIAMETER NATER
DISTRIBUTION MAIN, APPROPRIATING $5,870.78; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEAS
SECTION 1 That there is hereby authorized a reimbursement to
Claude Chapman, owner
and developer of Industrial Heights, Section 2, Block 4,
Lot 1 Subdivision, for installation of approximately 772 linear feet of 8 -inch
diameter water distribution main as authorized in Ordinance No. 17092.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $5,870.78 from the
No. 143-246.96 Distribution Mains Trust Fund.
Section 3. That ponitt request of the Mayor o five Council
members, copy attached, to find and de lare an emergency due to the need to take
immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting the
construction of public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance
s passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this
the 29th day of November, 1984.
