AMENDING THE PLATTING ORDINANCE, SECTION 5.0.5(h) OF THE
PLATTING ORDINANCE AND PERTAINING TO THE CITY COUNCIL REVIEW
OF THE ADEQUACY OF ALL FEES AND CHARGES BEING DEPOSITED IN
THE WATER TRUST FUNDS; AMEND SECTION V.B.6 (h) OF THE
PLATTING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE CITY COUNCIL REVIEW OF
THE ADEQUACY OF ALL FEES AND CHARGES BEING DEPOSITED IN THE
SANITARY SEWER TRUST FUNDS.; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS
SECTION 1 That Section V B 5.(h) of the Platting Ordinance,
pertaining to the City Council review of the adequacy of all fees and charges
being deposited in the Water Trust Funds, be and is hereby amended to read as
follows
Section V.B.5.(h) Once every two years, the City Council
shall review the adequacy of all fees and charges
established herein and the sufficiency of the trust fund,
and may, after public hearing, adopt a new schedule of fees
a d charges and/or transfer monies from one trust fund to
the other in order to better carry out the purposes of this
ordinance.
SECTION 2. That Section 5.0.5.(h) of the Platting Ordinance,
pertaining to the City Council review of the adequacy f fees and charges being
deposited in the Sanitary Sewer Trust Funds, be and hereby amended to read
Section V 3.6.(h) Once every two years, the City Council
shall review thedequacof all fees and charges
established herein and the sufficiency of the trust funds,
and may, after public hearing, adopt anew
schedule of fees
and charges and/or transfer monies from

one trust fund to
the other in order to better carry out the purposes of this
ordinance
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate
need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by amending the
the Platting Ordinance as aforesaid, such finding of an mergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance

is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this
the 4th day of December, 1984.
