AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE
ACQUISITION OF PARCELS 10 AND 11 IN CONNECTION WITH THE
PURDUE ROAD STREET IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE II PROJECT;
APPROPRIATING $1,650; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to execute the
documents necessary for the acquisition of Parcels 10 and 11 in connection with
the Purdue Road Street Improvements, Phase II Project, a substantial copy of
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $1,650 out of the
No. 220 Street Bond Fund.
SECTION 3. That uponwritten reuest of the Mayor five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to take
immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting the
purchase of land necessary for the abovementioned project, such finding of a
emergency i made s declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to
consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular
meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first
reading as an emergency measure this the 11th day of December, 1984.

2, as recorded in Nueces County. Map Records, Volume 17,
Page 4 and more completely described as follows
Beginning at the easterly corner of said Lot 43;
Thence S. 29. W , 10 feet along the southeasterly boundary of
said Lot 43;
Thence N. 61° W., 60 feet;
Thence westerly, 15.71 feet along a curve concave to the
south, having a radius of 10 feet, an internal angle of
90., and with a final bearing of S. 29. w.,

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular, the rights and

ever abandoned, then in that event, the aforesaid rights and
privileges shall cease, and all rights herein granted shall
