APPROPRIATING $14,100 FOR CONTINUATION OF THE TEMPORARY
ASSOCIATE CURATOR POSITION TO COMPLETE SEVERAL ART PROJECTS.
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS.
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated 014,100 out of the
Museum Trust Fund for continuation of the temporary Associate Curator position
through July 31, 1985, for several art projects.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate
need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by
appropriating a the abovementianed funds t the earliest possible date, such
finding of emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the
Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at
three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure this the Ilth day of December, 1984
