BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS SECTION 1 That Section I1 of Ordinance No 17728, which reads as follows, be deleted. "Section II Managerial Group Salary Adjustments The City Manager may authorize Increases in salary ranges and individual salaries for all employees in the Managerial Group including Council -appointed positions effective August 8, 1983." SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by amending the Compensation Plan as aforementioned, such finding of a emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances s lutions t/three regular meetings so that this ordinance i passed hall take tfiect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day of e✓/f 1984.
