AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COIITRACT WITH PEAT, MARWICK,
MITCHELL AND COMPANY FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY RELATED TO THE RELEASE OF FEDERAL
PLANNING GRANTS. MONIES RECEIVED FROM THE URBAN MASS
TRANSPORTATION ADMINISTRATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute any t
and all contract documents related to he release of federal planning grants
monies received from the Urban Mass Transportation Administration under Section
8 andSection 9. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an
agreement with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company and subcontractors for
professional services which will be pard for by said monies
planning mor contingent
upon the availability and release of those monies by the Urban Mass
Transportation Administration.
SECTION 2. That there is there is available out of Fund 162-802.59
UMTA Technical Studies the amount of $50,000 contingent upon the availability
and release of those monies by the Urban Mass Transportation Administration

the above mentioned funds, such finding of anemergency is made and declared
requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon

2nd day of January, 1985.
