A RESOLUTION
CONFIRMING THE APPOIIITMENT BY THE CITY MANAGER, PURSUANT TO
THE CITY CHARTER, ARTICLE III, SECTION 3, OF RICHARD R.
STRYKER TO THE POSITION OF MUSEUM DIRECTOR, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS.
SECTION I. That the appointment of Richard R Stryker to the position
of Museum Director by the City Manager, pursuant to the City Charter,
Article III, Section 3, is hereby confirmed
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient administration of City affairs by making the appointment as aforesaid,
such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the
Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances p solutions at
three regular meetingsso that this resolution is passed and shall take effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure this 8th day of January, 1985.
