BUTT GROCERY COMPANY BY GRANTING A REVISED SPECIAL COUNCIL PERMIT ON A PORTION OUT OF LOT 3, BLOCK 2, ALAMEDA ESTATES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the City Council its reports and recommendations concerning the application of H. E. Butt Grocery Company for amendment to the zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi; WHEREAS, public hearing was held at which hearing all persons wishing to appear and be heard were heard, to consider the same before the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper notice to the public, said public hearing having been held on Wednesday, January 8, 1985, at Regular Council meeting of the City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall to the City of Corpus Christi, and WHEREAS, by motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was decided by the City Council that to approve the hereinafter set forth amendment would best srve public health, n v necessity and convenience and the general welfare of the Cisty of Corpus Christi andits citizens NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TE%AS SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, is amended by making the change hereinafter set out. SECTION 2 That a Revised Special Council Permit be granted on portion out of Lot 3, Black 2, Alameda Estates, situated in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, and described by metes and bounds below, for a parking lot in accordance with the site plan, a substantial copy of which i attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A", and all other considerations of "0-1B" One -family Dwelling District. Being out of and a portion of Lot 3, Block 2, Alameda Estates, as shown by map or plat thereof of record in Volume 7, Page 41, of the Nueces County Map Records, and re particularly described by metes and bounds as follows, to -wit BEGINNING at the most Northerly corner of Lot 3, Block 2, Alameda Estates; THENCE, South 29"00' West along and with the West or Northwest line of said Lot 3, twenty feet to the place of beginning, of the tract of land herein described; 18634 THENCE, South 61°00' East 65.82 feet to a point, the most Easterly corner of this tract, THENCE, South 29500' West 145 feet to a point, the most Southerly corner of this tract; THENCE, Na 066 63°OR' West fi5.82 feet to 0 00106, being in the Hest or Northwest line of Lat 3, Block 2, Alameda Estates, THENCE, along and with the West or Northwest line of Lot 3, Block 2, Alameda Estates, North 29500' East 145 feet to the place of BEGINNING In the event the Board of Ad3ustment grants any special exception or variance to the Zoning Ordinance, applicable to the Special Permit herein granted, other than the onspecified in this Special Permit, said Special Permit shall be void and of no farce and effect whatsoever. SECTION 3 That the official zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, be and the same is hereby, amended as herein ordained. SECTION 4. That the Zoning Ordinance and Map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, approved an the 27th day of August, 1973, as mended from time to time, except as herein changed, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 6.
