HomeMy WebLinkAbout18642 ORD - 01/15/1985AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO COASTAL LEASE 84-006 FROM THE SCHOOL LAND BOARD FOR 12.95 ACRES ALONG CORPUS CHRISTI BEACH, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to execute an amendment to Coastal Lease 84-006 from the School Land Board for 12.95 acres along Corpus Christi Beach, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A." SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to execute the abovementioned amendment at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 15th day of January, 1985.
