AMENDING CHAPTER 9, AVIATION, SECTION 9-35.1, PARKING RATES,
BY INCREASING THE LONG TERM MAXIMUM 24-HOUR PARKING RATE
FROM $3.50 to $4.00 AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 9, Aviation, Section 9-35.1, Parkang rates,
of the Corpus Christi Code be amended by amending Item (1), Lang -tens parking
rates, to read as follows:
(1) Long -tern parking rates.
For the first hour . . . $0.50
For each additional hour thereafter . . 0.50
Maximum with parking ticket for each
twenty-four (24) hours. 4.00
Per day without/lost ticket 7 00
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an
emergency due to the need to
amend the Corpus Christi Code as aforementionedat the earliest practicable
date,

at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect

For the reasonsset forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance
or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
