HomeMy WebLinkAbout18660 ORD - 01/22/1985��>�t5^'1 TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERIOR DESIGN CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $23,000 WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL FIRM OF MORRIS-AUBREY FOR INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE NEW CENTRAL LIBRARY; APPROPRIATING 220,000, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1 That the City Manager be authorized to execute a interior design contract in the a ount not to a ceed $23,000 with the architectural fine of Morris -Aubrey for interior design services for the new central library, a substantial copy of whichcontract is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A". Bond Fund. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $23.000 from the Library SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an mergency due to the need to execute the abovementloned agreement at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 22nd day of January, 1985.
