AN ORDINANCE
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF STUN AND SECURITY SHUTTERS FOR
THE HIALCO BUILDING, APPROPRIATING $5,493.45; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the purchase 0f storm and security shutters for the
HTalco Building from Woodcock Home Improvement Company Ts hereby approved.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated 15,493.45 from the 9th Year
Supplemental Community Development Block Grant Program.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due t0 the need to
appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earlsest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency Is made and declared requiring suspensa0n of the Charter
rule as t0 c nsaderatlon and voting upon ordinances or esolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance ss passed and shall take effect upon
first reading as an emergency measure this the 29th day of January, 1985
