AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $21,013.46 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PARKING
LOT ADJACENT TO THE HEAVY EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE BUILDING,
ANO DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $21,013.46 from the No. 264
Municipal Service Center Band Fund for the construction of a 115 vehicle space
parking lot immediately adjacent to the Heavy Equipment Maintenance Building.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
appropriate the abovementloned funds at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon
first reading as an emergency measure this the 29th day of January, 1985.
