CHANGING THE NAME OF SPRING DRIVE TO SPRING FORK CIRCLE,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the name of the Spring Drive, situated in the City of
Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, be changed to Spring Fork Circle.
SECTION 2. That the Director of Transportation is hereby authorized
and directed tqanse to be ror
oved ny street signs markers which are
erroneous
after the passage of this ordinance and to erect new street signs o
markers at appropriate places designating the correct name of the above streets..
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the desire of
the Council to rename the abovementi oned street at the earliest possible
date, such finding of an
emergency is made and declared requiring suspension
of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances o
resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and
shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 29th day
of January, 1985

regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you "uspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance orresolution finally on the date It is Introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
