AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE DIOCESE
OF CORPUS CHRISTI PERTAINING TO SANITARY SEWER OFFSITE
EXTENSIONS TO SERVE 5T. PAUL THE APOSTLE CHURCH AND
PROVIDING FOR THE 080051ZING OF SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION
PIPE FROM 8 INCH TO 12 INCH DIAMETER; APPROPRIATING $965;
ANO DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to execute a
agreement with the Diocese of Corpus Christi pertaining to sanitary sewer
offsite extensions t e 5t. Paul the Apostle Church and provadrng for the
w
overslaing of sanitary s
y se extension pipe from 8 inch to 12 inch Diameter, a
substantial copy of which agreement Is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
marked Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $965 from the No. 250
Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
execute the abovementioned agreement at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as
tconsideration and voting upon ordinances o resolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance Is passed and shall take effect upon
first reading as an emergency measure this the 5th day of February, 1985.

This agreement is entered into between the City of Corpus Christi, Texas,
hereinafter called "City, and the Diocese of corpus Christi, hereinafter called

WHEREAS, the "Owner' desires sanitary sewer service to the sub,ect tract
WHEREAS, the "City" desires the proposed sewer extension oversized

NOW THEREFORE, the "City" and "Owner" agree as f011oAs

calculated to be $3.35 per linear foot at 288 linear feet for a total of Nine
Hundred Slaty Four and e0/10s (5964.60). The actual reimbursement amount
may be adEusted according to the actual construction cost after completion of
the work, but in no event shall It exceed the above stated amount The "City's..
