BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1 That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the contract with Cotten/Landreth Architects for design and engineering work on the West Concourse Extension and Holdroom at Corpus Christi International Airport authorized by Ordinance No. 18096, passed and approved February 22, 1984, which amendment provides for a expanded scope of work and additional architectural fees, all as more fully set forth in the architectural contract agreement, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit .A.. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $210,000 out of the No. 245 Airport Bond Fund. SECTION 3 That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need of executing the abovementioned architectural contract agreement at the earliest practicable date, such finding of anemergency a made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances o resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 19th day of February, 1985. Payments to the Archotect 1.
