VUIRLMLMTS, PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE, AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS
SECTION 1 That Subsection (d) Bond and insurance regouired, of

amended t0 read as follows
(d) Insurance requirements: It shall be a prerequisite to
the issuance and continuance of any permit provided for in
this Article that the permittee shall file with the City
Secretary and thereafter keep in full force and effect, a
policy of comprehensive general liability insurance, with a
c mpany authorized to do business in the state of Texas, i
the minimummounts of one -hundred thousand dollars
(5100,000) per person for bodily injury, three -hundred
thousand dollars ($300,000) for bodily injury per

and fifty -thousand dollars ($50,000) for
propertydamage and a policy of automobile liability
insurance
Bring the operation of each vehicle ed i
such business, in the minimum
mounts of one -hundred
thousand dollars ($100,000)1 per person for bodily injury,
three -hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for bodily injury
per o and fifty -thousand dollars ($50,000) for
property damage. The City shall be named as additional
insured in all insurance policies required by this Article.
Each insurance policy shall require notice from the insured

and/or insurer to the City Secretary at least thirty (30)
days prior to termination by the insurer or the insured
SECTION 2. If for any reason
any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid o
unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it
shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word
r provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City
Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or
provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose

SECTION 3 Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the city of Corpus Christi by publishing the caption stating in
substance the purpose of the ordinance, this ordinance to become effective upon
such publication.
