AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZIIIG THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH AUGUSTINE
SALES, INC., TRAFFIC DATA, INC . DOERR ASSOCIATION OF TEXAS,
TRAFFIC SIGNALS, INC., AND CONSOLIDATED TRAFFIC CONTROLS
PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SIGNALIZATION AT ELEVEN
INTERSECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Augustine Sales, Inc., Traffic Data, Inc., Doerr Association of
Texas, Traffic Signals, Inc , and Consolidated Traffic Controls providing for
the installation of signalization at eleven intersections, all as more fully set
forth in the plans and specifications and contract documents an file in the
office of the City Secretary, all of which are
made a part hereof by reference
and according to the bid of Augustine Sales,Inc., Traffic Data, Inc., Doerr
Association of Texas, Traffic Signals, Inc., and Consolidated Traffic Controls,
said bid being the lowest and most advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated 1201,684.90qg�from the No.
220 Street Bond Fund, $21,600.00 from Fund 102-231-512.02.0i, and $7,807.00
from Fund 102-231-512.02-542."95 ,

SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to take
mnediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting the
construction of public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance
is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this
the 26th day of February, 1985.
