HomeMy WebLinkAbout18721 RES - 02/26/198501.036.01 A RESOLUTION r„ ESTABLISHING A TRUST FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $43,000 FOR ARMAN00 CHAPA, CITY SECRETARY, APPROPRIATING $43,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND RESERVE FOR TRANSFER TO THE TRUST FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That a Trust Fund in the amount of $43,000 is hereby established far Armando Chapa, City Secretary of the City of Corpus Christi, the principal of such Trust Funds payable to Armando Chapa, City Secretary, only in the event of involuntary termination of employment by the City 0050311. Said Trust Fund shall be retained by the City of the City Secretary of the City of Corpus Chrosti voluntarily terminates employment. All interest earned by the Trust Fund shall be payable to the City of Corpus Christi SECTION 2 There is hereby appropriated 143,000 from the General Fund Reserve, Activity 521.9g, for the purpose of establishing this Trust Fund. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to fond and declare an emergency due to the need of efficient administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances orresolutions at three regular meetings so that this solution os passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 26th day of February, 1985 ATTEST.
