A RESOLUTION
CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE CITY MANAGER, PURSUANT TO
THE CITY CHARTER, ARTICLE III, SECTION 3, OF SERYL 0
FUNDERBURK, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS'
SECTION 1. That the appointment of Jeryl D. Funderburk to the
position of Director of Aviation by the City Manager, pursuant to the City
Charter, Article I1I, Section 3, is hereby confined.
SECTION 1. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached. to find and declare an em gency due to the need for
efficient administration of City affairs by making the appointment as aforesaid,
such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the
Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at
three regular meetings so that this resolution is passed and shall take effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure this 5th day of March, 1985

For the reset forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance
or resolution, emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
s to consideration and voting upon ordinances or esolutions at three
regular meetings, I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
