BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 53 Traffic, Section 53-100, Certain Trucks, Trailers and Other Large Vehicles Restr c? ted Lo Through Streets, be amended by adding the following paragraphs. If u ble to locate the person responsible for parking vehicle in violation of this section, the officer shall affix a parking summons to the vehicle pursuant to Section 53-57 of this Code, and the presumption in Section 53-58 that the registered owner was the violator shall apply. All travel trailers attached to a motor vehicle capable of moving such trailer, recreational vehicles, publicly owned ahicles or vehicles operated by publicily franchised utility companies required by municipal, state or publicly franchised utility companies to make utility service repairs shall be exempt from the eight-hour parking restriction on non -through streets. SECTION 4. Publication shall be made one time to the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi by publishing the caption stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance, this ordinance to become effective upon such publication.
