AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING 910,110 TO CONTINUE THE TEMPORARY POSITION OF
ASSOCIATE CURATOR THROUGH JULY 31, 1985, FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF SEVERAL ART PROJECTS, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated 910,110 out of the Museum
Trust Fund to continue the temporary position of Associate Curator through
July 31, 1985, for the construction of several art projects.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an mergency due to the need to
appropriate the abovementloned funds at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or solutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon
first reading as an emergency measure this the 19th day of March, 1985.
