AN OR01NANCE
APPROPRIATING $51,113 OUT OF N0. 210-83-1 NEW CITY HALL
FACILITIES FOR THE SETTLEMENT OF A CONDEMNATION APPEAL
FOR PARCEL 9 OF THE CITY HALL SITE PROJECT, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1 There is hereby appropriated $51,113 out of
No. 210-83-1 New City Hall Facilities for the settlement of a condemnation
appeal far Parcel 9 of the City Hall Site Project.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency 1s made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon
first reading as an emergency measure this the 2nd day of April, 1985.
