BY CHANGING THE ZONING MAP IN REFERENCE TO A PORTION OUT OF SURVEY N0. 419, STATE ABSTRACT 570, PATENT N0. 208, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS FROM "R-2" MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT, "R -IB" ONE -FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT, AND "B-1" NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT TO 9-4" GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the City Council its reports and recommendations c ming the application of Terco Development, Inc. for amendment to the zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi. WHEREAS, public hearing was held at which hearing all person wishing to appear and be heard were heard, to consider the same before the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper notice to the public, said public hearing having been held on Tuesday, April 2, 1985, at regular Council meeting of the City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall in the City of Corpus Christi, and WHEREAS, by motion duly made. seconded and carried, it was decided by the City Council that to approve the hereinafter set forth amendment would best serve public health, necessity and convenience and the general welfare of the City of Corpus Christi and its citizens: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, is amended by making the change hereinafter set out 5E111042. That the zoning on a portion out of Survey No. 419. State Abstract 570, Patent No. 208, Nueces County, Texas. in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, described by metes and bounds below, be changed from "0-2" Multiple Dwelling District, "4-18" One -family Dwelling District, and "8-1" Neighborhood Business District to "8-4" General Business District. FIELDNOTES for the 25cr more or less out of Survey No. 419, State Abstract 570,5 Patent No. 208, Nueces County, Texas BEGINNING ata 1/2 inch iron rod found on the North boundary line of Interstate Highway No. 37 for the lower Southeast corner of this tract, THENCE North 79.49'32" West with said North boundary line 130.89 feet for a corner of this tract; THENCE North 73.58'58" West continuing with said boundary line, 246.71 feet fora corner of this tract, THENCE North 69511'05" West with the abovementi0ned boundary line, 150.71 feet for a corner of this tract, MICROFILMED 18779 01.120.01 THENCE North 62403'35" West with said North Tine, 254.57 feet for the Southwest corner of this tract; THENCE North 08°54'31" West 217.61 feet to a point on the East boundary line of MCKinzie Road for a corner of this tract; THENCE North 10°29'20" East with said East line, 405 45 feet for a corner of this tract; THENCE North 09407'52" East continuing with the abovementl0ned East line, 195.06 feet to a point on the South boundary line of MCKlnzie Lane (Sid Allison Road 60.00 feet wide) for the Northwest corner of this tract, THENCE South 80°10'32" East with the abovementsoned South line, 1386.75 feet for the Northeast corner of this tract; THENCE South 09°49'28" West leaving said South line, 698.28 feet for the upper southeast corner of this tract, THENCE North 60°14'07" West 460.80 feet for an inside corner of this tract; THENCE South 26°26'54" West 419.25 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. • SECTION 3. That the official zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, be and the same is hereby, amended as herein ordained. SECTION 4 That the Zoning Ordinance and Map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, approved on the 27th day of August, 1913, as amended from time to time, except as herein changed, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 6 That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs bygranting the aforesaid zoning change, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or solutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance 1s passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 2nd day of April, 1985.
