AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER N0. 1 TO THE CONTRACT WITH
SOILLCRAFT INDUSTRIES AS PROVIDED FOR IN UMTA CAPITAL GRANT
PROJECT TX -05-0073-01, BOND FUND PROJECT N0. 218-77-2,
TRANSIT SYSTEM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS (1981): APPROPRIATING
94,995 OUT OF NO. 218 TRANSIT BOND FUND, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS
SECTION 1 That Change Order No 1 in the amount of 04,995 to the
contract with Skillcraft Industries as provided in UMTA Capital Grant Project
No. TX -05-0073-01, Project No. 218-77-2, Transit System Capital Improvements
(1981) is hereby authorized.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated 94,995 out of No. 218 Transit
Bond Fund.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an mergency due to the need to
appropriate the abnvementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency as made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon
first reading as an emergency measure this the 14th day of May, 1985.
