TEXAS:
AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE
SALE OF APPROXIMATELY 50.822 ACRES OF CLEAR ZONE LAND AT
WALDRON FIELD TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
documents necessary for the sale of approximately 50.822 acres of clear zone
land at Waldron Field to the United State of America for a cash consideration of
$597,723, all as more fully set forth in the document, a substantial copy of
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need of
executing the abovementioned document at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon
first reading as an emergency measure this the 4th day of June, 1985.

1. Title to all oil, gas, minerals and royalties, if any, and other elements
not constituting part of the surface estate of record as of the date of this
Agreement for Purchase, together with all rights, privileges and immunities
relating thereto.
2. All terms, conditions and stipulations contained in Warranty Deed dated
April 4, 1984 executed by Joseph A. Hensler and wife, Micheline, to the City
of Corpus Christi, Texas, a Municipal Corporation, recorded under Clerk's File
No. 369280 and at Volume 1912, Page 684, Deed Records, Nueces County, Texas,
reciting the right by Grantors to repurchase the above described property if
the Waldron Field Road right-of-way is not needed and further reserving an
120' by 900' ingress and egress easement along the existing driveway affecting
the above described property.
3. Easement and right-of-way dated October 8, 1982 executed by Joseph A.
Hensler to Central Power and Light Company, a Texas Corporation, recorded
under Clerk's File No. 295584 and at Volume 1845, Page 877, Deed Records,
Nueces County, Texas.
4. Right -of -Way verifying the exact location of the Right -of -Ways from Humble
Oil and Refining Company to W. G. Garrett, Jr., et al, George R. Buchanan and
