AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $15,489.31 OUT OF THE NO. 265
MULTICULTURAL CENTER BOND FUND PROVIDING FOR CHANGE
ORDER NO. 4 TO THE MULTICULTURAL CENTER SITE
DEVELOPMENT PROJECT RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
SECOND PARKING LOT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $15,489.31 from the
No. 265 Multicultural Center Bond Fund providing for Change Order No. 4 to
the Multicultural Center Site Development project relative to the
construction of the second parking lot and for funds to provide
reimbursement to the General Fund for engineering charges, of which
$12,493.28 is applicable to Project No. 265-84-1, Galvan House Restoration
and $2,996.03 is applicable to Project No. 265-84-2, Multicultural Center
Site Improvements.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five
Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the
need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable
date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring
suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon
ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance
is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure
this the 6th day of August, 1985.

or at the present meeting of the City Council.
