CARANCAHUA (WEST SIDE) BETWEEN COMANCHE AND LIPAN, ON N. CARANCAHUA (EAST SIDE) BETWEEN BLUCHER AND LIPAN, ON ANTELOPE BETWEEN ARTESIAN AND CARRIZO, ON BLUCHER BETWEEN CARANCAHUA AND UPPER BROADWAY, IN THE 500 BLOCK OF N. SHORELINE BLVD. (WEST SIDE), ON TWIGG BETWEEN LOWER BROADWAY AND MESQUITE; PROVIDING FOR A 2 -HOUR METER ZONE ON TANCAHUA (EAST HALF ROW.) BETWEEN BUFFALO AND I-37 FRONTAGE ROAD; PROVIDING FOR A 1 -HOUR METER ZONE ON N. CARANCAHUA (EAST SIDE) BETWEEN LEOPARD AND ANTELOPE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That Subsection (a) of Section 53-257, Schedule VIII, Parking meter zones established, of Chapter 53, Traffic, is hereby amended by adding the following: Meter Zone No. 1, Item (11) Carancahua Street (east side only), Blucher Street to Lipan Street; Meter Zone No. 1, Item (12) Carancahua Street (west side only), Comanche Street to Lipan Street; Meter Zone No. 3, Item (11) Tancahua Street (east half of right-of-way) Parking lot between Buffalo Street and I.H.37; Meter Zone No. 1, Item (14) Blucher Street, (north side only), Upper No. Broadway to Carancahua Street; and by deleting the following: Meter Zone No. 1, Item (11) Lower Broadway (both sides) William Street to Taylor Street, except that portion described in subsection (e), Meter Zone No. 4 (Item 10). SECTION 2. That Subsection (b) of Section 53-257, Schedule VIII, Parking meter zones established, of Chapter 53, Traffic, is hereby amended by adding the following: 42.083.04 18983M1CROF TIMED • Meter Zone No. 2, Item (18) Laguna Street (south side) from Mesquite Street to 100 -feet east of Mesquite Street; Meter Zone No. 2, Item (23) Lower Broadway (both sides) William Street to Twigg Street, except portions described in subsection (d), Meter Zone No. 4 (Items 13 and 14). Meter Zone No. 2, Item (13) Antelope Street (both sides) Artesian Street to Carrizo Street; Meter Zone No. 2, Item (24) Shoreline Blvd. (west side only), Peoples Street to Schatzel Street; Meter Zone No. 2, Item (11) Twigg Street (both sides), Lower Broadway to Mesquite Street; and by deleting the following: Meter Zone No. 2, Item (13) Antelope Street (both sides) Artesian Street to Carrizo Street, except that portion described in subsection (f), Meter Zone No. 6 (Item 1); Meter Zone No. 2, Item (11) Twigg Street (north side only), Lower Broadway to Mesquite Street. SECTION 3. That Subsection (c) of Section 53-257, Schedule VIII, Parking meter zones established, of Chapter 53, Traffic, is hereby amended by adding the following: Meter Zone No. 3, Item (5) Carancahua Street (both sides), Lipan Street to Buffalo Street, except for portions described in subsection (a) Meter Zone No. 1 (Items 6 and 7), and except for that portion described in subsection (g) Meter Zone No. 7 (Item 1); and by deleting the following: Meter Zone No. 3, Item (11) Blucher Street, (north side only), Upper No. Broadway to Carancahua Street; Meter Zone No. 3, Item (16) Shoreline Blvd. (west side only), Peoples Street to Schatzel Street; Meter Zone No. 3, Item (5) Carancahua Street (both sides), Lipan Street to Buffalo Street, except for that portion described in subsection (a) Meter Zone No. 1 (Items 6 and 7). 42.083.04 • • SECTION 4. That Subsection (d) of Section 53-257, Schedule VIII Parking meter zones established, of Chapter 53, Traffic, is Fereby amended by ad ing: Meter Zone No. 4, Item (3) Laguna Street (north side) between Mesquite Street and Chaparral Street; Meter Zone No. 4, Item (23) Laguna Street (south side) between Mesquite Street and Chaparral Street, except that portion described in subsection (b) Meter Zone No. 2, Item (18); and by deleting the following: Meter Zone No. 4, Item (3) Laguna Street (both sides) between Mesquite Street and Water Street. SECTION 5. That Subsection (e) of Section 53-257, Schedule VIII, Parking meter zones established, of Chapter 53, Traffic, is hereby amended by de eting the following: Meter Zone No. 5, Item (1) Carancahua Street (both sides) between Blucher Street and Lipan Street. SECTION 6. That Subsection (f) of Section 53-257, Schedule VIII, Parking meter zones established, of Chapter 53, Traffic, is hereby amended by deleting the following: Meter Zone No. 6, Item (1) Antelope Street, (south side only) east one-half of block, Artesian Street to Carrizo Street. SECTION 7. That Subsection (g) of Section 53-257, Schedule VIII, Parking meter zones established, of Chapter 53, Traffic, is hereby amended by adding the following: Meter Zone No. 7, is established as a maximum one-hour meter zone in which parking shall be limited to twelve minutes (12) upon deposit of one five -cent coin; twenty-four (24) minutes upon deposit of one dime coin or two five -cent coins; and one-hour upon deposit of one quarter coin, or five (5) five -cent coins, or combination of five -cent coins and dime coins between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., any day except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays officially set by the City Council upon the following streets: (1) Carancahua Street (east side), Leopard St. to Antelope St. 42.083.04 • • SECTION 8. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose. SECTION 9.
