AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE PLATTING ORDINANCE NO. 4168, SECTION III,
PROCEDURES, SUBSECTION C, FILING FEES, TO INCREASE THE
CURRENT PLAT FILING FEES 25 PERCENT FOR NONPUBLIC AND PUBLIC
NOTICE PLATS AND 40 PERCENT FOR CORRECTION PLATS; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Section III, Procedures, Subsection C, Filing Fees,
of the Platting Ordinance No. 4168, is hereby amended by deleting the current
table of filing fees and substituting therefor the following table:
Type I Type II Type III
Less than 1 acre $125.00 $375.00 $35.00
1 to 5 acres 250.00 580.00 35.00
More than 5 acres 406.25 656.25 35.00
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
amend the Platting Ordinance as aforementioned at the earliest practicable date,
such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the
Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at
three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 3rd day of September, 1985.

or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
