AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE REIMBURSEMENT TO TERCO DEVELOPMENT, INC.,
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION LINE;
APPROPRIATING $73,591.83; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby authorized the reimbursement to Terco
Development, Inc., owner and developer of River Square Subdivision Unit 1 and
Unit 2, the amount of $73,591.83 for the installation of approximately 850
linear feet of 12" offsite sanitary sewer collection line and the oversizing of
approximately 1,412 linear feet of 12" sanitary sewer collection line, as shown
on Exhibit "A", a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, per Ordinance No. 17396.
SECTION 2. That the transfer of $7,690.20 from the No. 145-247.95
Sanitary Sewer Trunk Line Trust Fund is hereby approved into the No. 145-247.96
Sanitary Sewer Collections Line Trust Fund and that there is hereby appropriated
$73,591.83 out of the No. 145-247.96 Sanitary Sewer Collections Line Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon
first reading as an emergency measure this the 15th day of October, 1985.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance
or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
