HomeMy WebLinkAbout19071 ORD - 10/29/1985AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $11,620 OUT OF THE NO. 205 WATER BOND FUND FOR CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 PROVIDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL 197 LINEAR FEET OF 12 INCH DRAIN LINE, AN ADDITIONAL 7 LINEAR FEET OF 20 INCH CASING AND THE INSTALLATION OF A TEMPORARY BYPASS ON THE 12 INCH MUD LINE TO PERMIT NEW BORING, APPLICATION TO PROJECT NO. 205-81-16, I.H. UTILITY ADJUSTMENTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $11,620 out of No. 205 Water Bond Fund for Change Order No. 2 providing for an additional 197 linear feet of 12 inch drain line, an additional 7 linear feet of 20 inch casing and the installation of a temporary bypass on the 12 inch mud line to permit new boring, application to Project No. 205-81-16, I.H. 37 Utility Adjustments. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinancesor resolutions at, three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 29th day of October, 1985.
