AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE BY SEPARATE SPECIAL WARRANTY
DEEDS SURPLUS AUSTIN STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY TO MR. W.H.
JOHNSON, MR. AND MRS. DAVID VARGA, AND MR. RUSSELL CASSARA;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to convey by
separate Special Warranty Deeds surplus Austin Street right-of-way to Mr. W.H.
Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. David Varga, and Mr. Russell Cassara, all as more fully
set forth in the special warranty deeds, substantial copies of which are
attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibits "A", "B", and "C".
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need of
executing the abovementioned special warranty deeds at the earliest practicable
date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of
the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions
at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 21st day of January, 1986.

County, Texas, and being that approximate
southwest one third of the deadend portion
of Austin Street closed by City of Corpus
Christi Ordinance Number 18227, further
described by metes and bounds as follows;
Beginning at a point being the easternmost
corner of said Lot 6c and being a point on
the northwestern right of way of 60 foot
wide Rossiter Street, for the point of
beginning of this tract;
Thence S. 58° 54' W., along said Rossiter
Street right of way, 28.50 feet to a
point for the south corner of this tract;
Thence N. 32° 10' 45" W., 38.39 feet to a
point for the west corner of this tract;
Thence N. 45° E., at 12.52 feet pass an
interior corner of said Lot 6c, in all a
distance of 24.50 feet to a point for the
northernmost corner of this tract;

the point of beginning of this tract.
