AN ORDINANCE
APPROVING THE APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO REIMBURSE GRAND VIEW, INC., OWNER AND
DEVELOPER OF GRAND VIEW MOBILE HOME SUBDIVISION, FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF APPROXIMATELY 490 LINEAR FEET OF
24" DIAMETER SANITARY SEWER TRUNK LINE; APPROPRIATING
$98,683.28; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to approve the
application and reimbursement of Grand View, Inc. for the installation of
approximately 490 linear feet of 24" diameter sanitary sewer trunk line; as
shown on Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated $98,683.28 out of No.
145-247.95, Sanitary Sewer Trunk Line Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five
Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the
need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable
date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring
suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon
ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance
is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure
this the 25th day of February, 1986.

or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
