HomeMy WebLinkAbout19216 ORD - 03/04/1986TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 TO THE CONTRACT WITH BASIC CONSTRUCTORS, INC. FOR THE ALLISON PLANT EXPANSION PROJECT; APPROPRIATING $46,663.75; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $46,663.75 to the contract with Basic Constructors, Inc. for the Allison Plant Expansion Project is hereby approved. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $46,663.75 from the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund to the Allison Plant Expansion, Project No. 250-82-1. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need of approving the abovementioned change order at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 4th day of March, 1986.
