HomeMy WebLinkAbout19319 ORD - 05/20/1986TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $6,500 OUT OF 220 STREET BOND FUND FOR PAVING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC ALLEY IN BLOCK 3, GRAY VILLAGE ADDITION, AND FOR TESTING FEES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $6,500 out of 220 Street Bond Fund providing for Change Order No. 1, consisting of paving a portion of the public alley in Block 3, Gray Village Addition, and testing fees associated with the project: SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 20th day of May, 1986.
