AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH JERRY ALLEN,
PROFESSIONAL ART CONSULTANT, TO DEVELOP STANDARD PROCEDURES.
AND GUIDELINES FOR EXPENDING FUNDS FROM THE PERMANENT ART
TRUST FUND AND OTHER PUBLIC FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE AND
THE CITY OF
COMMISSIONING
IF APPROPRIATINF PERMANENT G WORKS
AND ECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an
agreement with Jerry Allen, professional art consultant, to develop standard
procedures and guidelines for expending funds from the Permanent Art Trust Fund
and other public funds for the purchase and commissioning of permanent works of
art for the City of Corpus Christi,

SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $2,000 from the
Permanent Art Trust Fund to pay for fees and expenses of a professional art
consultant.

or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three

or at the present meeting of the City Council.
