AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 35, OIL AND GAS WELLS, SECTION 35-109,
STORAGE FACILITIES, OF THE CITY COD ' REQUIRE THAT EACH

PSI OR GREATER BE EQUIPPED WITH AT LEAST TWO PRESSURE RELIEF
SAFETY DEVICES, ONE OF WHICH MUST BE A PRESSURE RELIEF
SAFETY VALVE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That Chapter 35, Oil and Gas Wells, Section 35-109,
Stora e Facilities, of the City Code, is hereby amended by deleting the last
sentence t ereo and adding therefor the following sentence:
Each oil and gas separator operating at a pressure less than
250 psi shall be equipped with a pressure relief safety
device and each oil and gas separator operating at a
pressure of 250 psi or greater shall be equipped with at
least two pressure relief safety devices, one of which must
be a pressure relief safety valve.
