HomeMy WebLinkAbout19343 ORD - 06/03/1986AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $19,702.68 OUT OF NO. 230 BRIDGE BOND FUND FOR PARTIAL PAYMENT OF THE CITY'S SHARE OF CABLE REPLACEMENT COSTS ON THE TULE LAKE LIFT BRIDGE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $19,702.68 out of No. 230 Bridge Bond Fund for partial payment of the City's share of cable replacement costs on the Tule Lake Lift Bridge applicable to Project No. 230-85-1.1, Tule Lake Lift Bridge Cable Replacement. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, ,such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 3rd day of June, 1986.
