HomeMy WebLinkAbout19345 ORD - 06/03/19860 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19326 WHICH GRANTED A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR A SHOPPING CENTER LIMITED TO "B-1" NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT USES UPON APPLICATION OF R.C. ALLEN BY CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION TO READ 6.62 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF LOT 1, OSO FARM TRACTS AND OUT OF BLOCK A, PARK TERRACE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19326 passed on May 20, 1986, which granted a special permit for a shopping center limited to "8-1" Neighborhood Business District uses upon application of R.C. Allen be amended by correcting the legal description to read 6.62 acres of land out of Lot 1, Oso Farm Tracts and out of Block A, Park Terrace, further described by metes and bounds as described below: Thence North 61°28'35' West, along the Northeast boundary of said Block A, 200.00 feet for an inside corner of this tract; Thence South 29°00'00" West 290.00 feet to a point on the Northeast boundary of McArdle Road for the lower South corner of this tract; Thence North 61°30'00" West, along said Northeast boundary line, parallel to its centerline and 30.00 feet distant thereof, measured at right angles thereto, 290.41 feet for the West corner of said Block A and the West corner of this tract; Thence North 29°00'00" East, along the Northwest boundary of said Block A, 290.00 feet to a 5/8" iron rod set for the North corner of said Block A and a corner of this tract; Thence South 61°28'35" East, along the Northeast boundary of said Block A, 10.41 feet for an inside corner of this tract; Thence North 29°00'00" East 512.61 feet to point on the aforementioned 'Southwest boundary of Lamont Street for the North corner of this tract; Thence South 61°28'35" East, along said Southwest boundary of Lamont Street, 480.00 feet for the POINT OF BEGINNING. 07P.059.01 19345 MICROFILMED SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 3rd day of June, 1986.
