CHANGE
THE CONTRACT WITH

BASISVCONSTRUCTORS, RD INC. FOR THENOS. 3AND FLO R B4LLUFF PLANT EXPANSION
PROJECT; APPROPRIATING $132,000; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That Change Order Nos. 3 and 4 in the respective amounts
of $150,852.60 and $9,123.00 to the contract with Basis Constructors, Inc. for
the Flour Bluff Plant Expansion project are hereby approved.

Sanitary SewerlBond Fundere is applicable to ProjectiNo. 250-82-20 out of the No. 250
members, SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
approve the abovementioned change orders and to appropriate the abovementioned
funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance
is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this
the 17th day of June, 1986.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance
or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
