HomeMy WebLinkAbout19361 ORD - 06/24/1986AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $22,200 FROM THE NO. 295 STORM SEWER BOND FUND FOR CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 WHICH PROVIDES FOR REPAIR OF THE UPPER DIFFUSER BEARING AND SLEEVE TO PUMP ENGINE NO. 2; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $22,200 from the No. 295 Storm Sewer Bond Fund for Change Order No. 3 providing for repair of the upper diffuser bearing and sleeve to Pump Engine No. 2 applicable to Project No. 295-77-2.1, Downtown Pump Station "A," Phase II. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 24th day of June, 1986.
