HomeMy WebLinkAbout19397 ORD - 07/29/1986AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $68,350 OUT OF 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO FACILITATE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR, JALCO, INC.; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. .There is hereby appropriated $68,350 out of the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund for additional funding to facilitate final payment to the contractor, Jalco, Inc. applicable to Project No. 250-77-7.1, Phase IIA. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to - appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 29th day of July, 1986.
