HomeMy WebLinkAbout19401 ORD - 07/29/1986TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $80,849.93 TO SUPPLEMENT $229,015.07 REMAINING FROM EXISTING CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATIONS TO VARIOUS PROJECTS AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT "A" TO REIMBURSE THE GENERAL FUND FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated $80,849.93 as follows: $39,868.16 out of the No. 220 Street Bond Fund ' 996.25 out of the No. 245 Airport Bond Fund 1,722.55 out of the No. 247 Airport Hazard Elimination Bon 22,763.97 out of the No. 250 SanitarydSewer Bond Fund 1,894.87 out of the No. 251 Sanitary Landfill Bond Fund 492.16 out of the No. 266 Police Building Bond Fund 1,027.19 out of the No. 267 Animal Shelter Bond Fund '6,760.44 out of the No. 291 Park Bond Fund 5,324.34 out of the No. 295 Storm Sewer Bond Fund to supplement $229,015.07 remaining from existing contingency appropriations to various projects as shown on the tabulations marked Exhibit "A", a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, to provide a total reimbursement of $309,865.00 to the No. 102 General Fund for engineering services provided during May, June, and July, 1986, (Fourth Quarter, 1985-86). SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by appropriating the aforementioned amounts, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect• upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 29th day of July, 1986.
