HomeMy WebLinkAbout19437 ORD - 08/12/1986AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $8,220 OUT OF NO. 209 COMMUNITY CONVENTION FACILITY BOND FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FOR THE CONVENTION CENTER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $8,220 out of No. 209 Community Convention Facility Bond Fund for Project No. 209-76-1.3, Convention Center Equipment, for the purchase of additional computer equipment for the Convention Center. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 12th day of August, 1986.
