AMENDING CHAPTER 53, TRAFFIC, SECTION 53-253,
SCHEDULE I'V--STOPPING, STANDING, OR PARKING PROHIBITED
DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND SECTION 53-252,
SCHEDULE III --PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN
STREETS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR
PUTION.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 53, Traffic, Section 53-253,
Schedule IV --Stopping, standing, or parking prohibited during certain hours on
certain streets, is hereby amended by deleting the following sections:
EVERHART ROAD, the northwest
side from Donegal Drive to
Saratoga Boulevard.
EVERHART ROAD, the southeast
side, from Donegal Drive to
Saratoga Boulevard.
Between 4:00 p.m. and
6:00 p.m. daily, except
weekends and holidays.
Between 7:00 a.m. and
9:00 a.m. daily, except
weekends and holidays.
SECTION 2. That Chapter 53, Traffic, Section 53-252,
Schedule III --Parking prohibited at all times on certain streets, is hereby
amended by deleting the following sections:
EVERHART ROAD, both sides, between Donegal and Holly Road.
EVERHART ROAD, northwest side, between Padre Island Drive
and Holly Road.
EVERHART ROAD, east side, from Williams Drive to Holly Road.
EVERHART ROAD, west side, from the south right-of-way line
of South Staples to the north right-of-way line of Padre
Island Drive.
and in lieu thereof adding the following sections:
EVERHART ROAD, both sides, between Staples Street and a
point 750 feet south of Saratoga Boulevard (S.H. 357).
GOLLIHAR ROAD, both sides, between Ayers Street and the
Crosstown Expressway (S.H. 286) East Frontage Road.
SECTION 2. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or
unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it

shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word
or provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City
Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or
provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi by publishing the caption stating in
substance the purpose of the ordinance, this ordinance to become effective upon
such publication.
