AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT OF $12,857.32 TO THE MURRAY GROUP
AND SOUTHERN, NATIONAL BANK FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
APPROXIMATELY 758 LINEAR FEET OF 8 INCH AND 10 INCH DIAMETER
SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION LINE; APPROPRIATING $12,857.32;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby authorized the reimbursement of
$12,857.32 to the Murray.Group and Southern National Bank, owners and developers
of La Costa Unit 1 Subdivision, for the installation of approximately 758 linear
feet of 8 inch and 10 inch diameter sanitary sewer collection line in
conjunction with the development of this subdivision as shown on attached
Exhibit "A," per Ordinance No. 17396.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $12,857.32 out of the
No. 145-247.96 Sanitary Sewer Collection Line Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient and effective administration of City affairs by authorizing the
aforementioned reimbursement, such finding of an emergency is made and declared
requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon
ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is
passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the
19th day of August, 1986.
