HomeMy WebLinkAbout19450 ORD - 08/19/1986• AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE UPON APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI BY CHANGING THE ZONING MAP IN REFERENCE TO LOT 1A, BLOCK 3, WASHINGTON ADDITION, FROM "B-1" NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "R -1B" ONE -FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the City Council its reports and recommendations concerning the application of the City of Corpus Christi for amendment to the zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi. WHEREAS, public hearing was held at which hearing all persons wishing to appear and be heard were heard, to consider the same before the City Council said of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper notice to the public, Council meeting of thea City Council been lin the Counon cil August Chamberl at City Hall regular i n uthe City of Corpus Christi; and WHERE motion the City Councils that to approve the hereinafter set forth and eamendment would it was ebest serve public health, necessity and convenience and the general welfare of the City of Corpus Christi and its citizens: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, is amended by making the change hereinafter set out. SECTION 2. That the zoning on Lot 1A, Block 3, Washington Addition in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, be changed from "B-1" Neighborhood Business District to "R -1B" One -family Dwelling District. SECTION 3. That the official zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, be and the same is hereby, amended as herein ordained. SECT 4.
