APPROPRIATING $70,000 OUT OF N0. 205 WATER BOND FUND FOR
ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR FINAL PAYMENT INCLUDING RETAINAGE
INTEREST TO DELTA UTILITIES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $70,000 out of No. 205 Water
Bond Fund for additional funding for final payment including retainage interest
to Delta Utilities, applicable to Project No. 205-81-5.1, Baldwin Boulevard
Waterline Replacement.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charterrule as to consideration

or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three

and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
