HomeMy WebLinkAbout19508 ORD - 09/30/1986AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 16232 AND 15371 AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH ISLAND ENTERPRISES, INC., FOR THE SALE OF TRAVEL INSURANCE AND HANDLING OF TRAVEL RESERVATION TICKETS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance Numbers 16232 and 15371 are hereby amended and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the agreement with Island Enterprises, Inc., for the sale of travel insurance and handling of travel reservation tickets, all as more fully -\set forth in the amended agreement, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A." 08P.076.01 195° MICROF LMED AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE AGREEMENT FOR GIFT SHOP AND NEWSTAND CONCESSION AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT The City of Corpus Christi, hereinafter called "City", and Island Enterprises, Inc., hereinafter called Concessionaire, agree to the following amendment to the agreement for gift shop and newstand at the Corpus Christi International Airport authorized by City Council by Ordinance Numbers 16232 and 15371. 1. ARTICLE II - F. PRIVILEGES, RIGHTS USES AND INTERESTS EXCLUDED shall be amended and the sale of travel insurance and the handling of travel reservation tickets shall become an exclusive privilege and right of the concessionaire's operation. A copy of an agreement between Island Enterprises, Inc., and Sanborn's Travel Services for the handling of travel reservation tickets shall be attached to this amendment as exhibit "A". 2. In addition to the payment of minimum annual concession fees stated in the original agreement, Concessionaire agrees to pay 7.5% of gross revenues from the sale of travel insurance and the handling of travel reservation tickets according to the terms of the original agreement. All other terms and conditions of the agreement approved under Ordinance Numbers 16232 and 15371 by the City and Concessionaire not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and effect.
